Hi, I’m Monica! I’m a Social Media Virtual Assistant (I do a lot of other types of work too!)
In 2010 I started my journey as a Social Media Virtual Assistant. In my previous career, I was an Executive Assistant. I have about 20 years experience in a supportive role working within a range of structures: from large corporations, Small Business Owners to Entrepreneurs. In 2011, I accomplished a dream of mine! I graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts (Advertising, emphasis on Strategy) from the Academy of Art University.
In 2014 I decided to become a full-time, Freelance Virtual Assistant. I work with clients who are Entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners, and I sub-contract for other Virtual Assistants as well. My projects are quite varied, but I mainly help others with their social media projects. However, I do provide basic Administrative support such as calendar management, and making travel arrangements (love doing this!). I offer a hybrid of skills to my clients – I bring a blend of both administrative and creative experience to the table. It’s where I stand apart from other Virtual Assistants.
On a personal note, some of my hobbies include traveling, painting with gouache, taking pictures, singing at the top of my lungs, and cooking beautiful meals.
